Woodbury's Service Jar

I am so proud of Taylor and Spencer and their love of service. I hope it is a love that stays with them for life. Every day this past month, they, as well as Mark and I, excitedly picked a service to perform that day, and performed it happily. Below are the "services" that were performed . . .
  • Wrote letters

  • Set the table

  • Sang a song

  • Took dinner to someone in need

  • Helped someone in secret

  • Wrote letters to missionaries

  • Helped an old lady in the grocery store

  • Shared a scripture

  • Peeled potatoes

  • Shared a talent

  • Gave a compliment

  • Said, "Thank you"

  • Shared a blanket

  • Cleaned a bathroom

  • Picked up trash

  • Made a bed

  • Gave a hug

  • Volunteered at a school

  • Brought in the mail

  • Took out the garbage

  • Passed on a smile

  • Gave to the needy

  • Went to the temple

  • Hung up a coat

  • Recycled paper

  • Did dishes

  • Put dishes away

  • Said a prayer

  • Read a story

  • Said, "Great job"

  • Cleaned a classroom

  • Made treats

  • Gave a present

How fun! Sounds like a lot of people got a lot of blessings/help they needed this last month. It will be an awesome tradition.

Love the idea. I think we might have to do a SERVICE jar. Kendall and Peyton love to help people.
