Isn't it beautiful?! I think it is, and it tasted so good, which made me very happy. I can't claim that I made the crust from scratch. I cheated and bought a frozen pie crust, but I did make the pie filling. It is the pie filling my friend, Kristi, and I canned this past September. I added a crumb topping, which tasted so good, and served it with vanilla ice cream on Christmas day. Looking at my apple pie makes me so proud.
