So, Mark bought my Christmas present this past week. Any guesses? Well, he bought me two tickets to see "Wicked!" Isn't he good?! I am so excited. Well, since we won't be getting the tickets for a while, (the show isn't until March,) Mark felt like he needed to buy me another present, something he could put under the tree. He asked me what I would like. I couldn't think of anything, truly, and told him not to worry about it. Tickets to "Wicked" was all I needed. Well, a few days later, I was thinking I would love to have a Fry Daddy! I would love to be able to make fried scones, real french fries and so much more. The more I thought about it, the more excited I got. Well, that night, I told Mark my great idea for a Christmas present for me. Guess what?! He just laughed at me. I don't think he thought I was seriuos. I was very serious. A Fry Daddy sounded like a lot of fun. When I told him I was serious, he said, "What do you think people are going to think when you write on your blog that you got a Fry Daddy for Christmas? They are going to think I stink at giving presents! You're not getting a Fry Daddy." I'm hoping he was teasing, and that a Fry Daddy will be under the tree for me Christmas morning, because I seriuosly want one. I can taste the warm scones now. Mmmmm. Plus, all of you know he is great at buying presents. "Wicked" tickets are total proof! Well, maybe I better write a letter to Santa just in case.
Now for the sweet. This morning Spencer crawled into bed with me after hearing Mark get into the shower. (He does this every morning. His timing is always perfect.) So, after crawling into my bed, he snuggled up to me, hugged me tightly around the neck, and said, "You is the bestest mommy." My heart melted. He is too stinkin' cute. (And he knows it!)

Aahhh, how sweet of your little Spencer. And "you is" the best! I'm so excited for you to see Wicked. I think you'll love it. And seriously, just remind everyone in your blog that yoiu ASKED for the Fry Daddy. And what a good husband you have to give you what you asked for. Heck, last year I asked for 5 big matching laundry baskets. Not the cutesie real basket ones. Just the white plastic ones that I need while sorting laundry and stuff. And I was so excited, and surprisingly surprised when I got them. (I forgot that I told Erick I wanted them, so I had no idea what the big huge wrapped tower was under the tree. I'm a dork, I know). I hope you get what you wanted, because all the fried stuff is sooo good! You can do eggrolls in it too!
Get her the Fry Daddy!!!!! Hope you guys enjoy Wicked. We saw it with the kids last year in Pittsburgh and have been trying to "Defy Gravity" ever since :)
Oh Spencer you melt my heart too. we will have to see if you get a fry daddy, I laughed because I could picture Mark exactly with that request. Everyone I know who has seen Wicked has loved it.
Fry Daddy, Fry Daddy, Fry Daddy!!! (in a chanting tone) They're so much fun!
With talk like that, Spencer will get lots of treats made with the Fry Daddy. :)
I hope you got your Fry Daddy! (Wicked will be wonderful! Can't wait to hear about it.)
