Taylor auditioned for Chamber Orchestra and made it in!

We are incredibly proud of her. I had never seen her work so hard for an audtion. She practiced and practiced and practiced! When the day of her audition finally came, she was so nervous. After her audtion, due to her nerves, she was just sure she hadn't made it in. Well, there was quite a wait between her audition and today, the day she found out she had made it in. The wait ended up being a good thing. She had the time she needed to prepare herself for the news, whether good or bad. I think she must have prepared herself more for bad news than good, because when she found out that she had made it in, she cried. When she told me that, (she found out at school,) I smiled. Sounds like our Taylor. We really are so proud of her. She has enjoyed her year with Concert Orchestra, but was ready for more of a challenge. Chamber Orchestra, an audition-only orchestra, will definitely be a challenge for her, but I think she is ready for it. She is going to be wonderful!
