We woke up to six glorious inches of snow this morning. This is our first snow of the year, and probably our last. (It is supposed to be 70 degrees on Saturday.) Of course, school was cancelled, but we also had the exciting news that Mark's office was closed as well. We all got to stay home and play. We spent a good two hours outside, having so much fun making snow angels and building a snowman. We plan to play more tomorrow. (School has already been cancelled for tomorrow. Crazy, I know.) Along with snow tomorrow, I see home-made chocolate chip cookies in our plans. Doesn't that sound fun? Anyway, below are a few pictures from our fun day. Okay, a lot of pictures, but I couldn't choose just a few. (I actually thought 15 was was pretty good, considering I took 65.) Along with our glorious snow, Spencer said a sweet thing last night. We called the kids over to the window, to watch the snow piling high. Spencer got really excited, started jumping up and down and said, "Santa is coming tonight!" We had to sadly explain that Santa had already come this year. His little disappointed face was so sad, it broke my heart. Hopefully, playing in the snow today made up for Santa's not coming.
