Mark has been very busy at work, but is doing well. He has actually applied for a different job within his own company. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he gets it. It would bring his stress level down considerably.
Taylor is loving 3rd grade. She is doing really, really well . . . She got a 100 on her first math test, her first vocabulary test and her first social studies test! She was very excited. She has also begun piano lessons and soccer. Both are completely new to her and she is enjoying both. (We weren't so sure if she would like soccer, but she does!) As far as piano lessons are concerend, right now she is so happy and excited to practice 30 minutes every day. We'll see how long that lasts.
Spencer is enjoying life right now. (Has he ever not?) He has begun soccer, and like Taylor, it is a first for him. He had his first game on Saturday and loved it, especially since his daddy is the assistant coach. What a lucky boy. He is really enjoying preschool and learning new things. He is such a momma's boy, but, at the same time, he is just so excited to step out into the world. I love watching him grow.
Taylor and Spencer are the joys of my life, as well as their dad. I couldn't ask for a better husband. He has been working so hard lately. Not only at work, church and fatherhood, but on our home. He has been working extra hard on our yard, trying to get new grass to grow. He has also been busy painting ceilings and walls. It is exciting to see our house slowly coming together, which brings me to our picture below. I have finally got a few things on our walls and I am so excited. I am especially excited about my fireplace mantle. I love my mirror and I really love my flower arrangement. I've had the idea for this flower arrangement in my head for a long time, but my nerves, and my lack of finding fake flowers I actually liked, have stopped me from actually attempting to put it together. I finally found flowers that I fell in love with and the whole thing quickly came together. I am so happy with it. Hopefully I can get the guts to attempt another. I would like an arrangement to put on our piano.
So, only one sad little picture this week, but I promise that more are on their way. Spencer's room is almost complete. The "red" wall in our kitchen is almost complete. I will post pictures when they are. Soccer pictures should be coming soon too. I just need to remember to bring my camera to the kids' games! Yep! That's my life right now. A little crazy, but it's a good life!
