Yesterday, the kids and I went to DC with Mark. Mark travels there once a week for a meeting. So, we decided we would tag along this week, give him a little company during the drive and have a little day trip for ourselves. It was really nice. We dropped Mark off at his office and then the kids and I went and did a little school shopping and had lunch. After lunch, we met up with friends and went swimming. Taylor and Spencer had a lot of fun. It was really nice to get away for the day and spend time with friends. We were all exhausted when we came home last night, but it was definitely worth it.
