Meeting Scout

Scout is here and she is perfect. I can't begin to express how grateful I am to be living so near my sister, getting to be a part of Scout's entrance into the world. When I even think about it, I tear up, so I am not going to write anymore. I'm going to move on to pictures from our visit to South Carolina for Scout's birth. It was a pretty perfect visit, filled with not only Scout, but lots of family time.

Before Scout's arrival, Spencer did a little shopping for Scout.

We also fit in a couple trips to the pool. (Plus, a lot of board games!)

Scout made her appearance on Monday, July 31st. 

Once Scout came home from the hospital, we may have fought a bit over who got to hold her. Looking at the pictures, it seems like Spencer won most often.

We were blessed to be able to witness Scout's blessing, something we hadn't expected. It was beautiful.

If I could go back today, I would in a heartbeat. Our next visit can't come soon enough. Welcome to the world Scout!
