Strawberries and tomatoes and zuchinni! Oh my!

What a fun week! On Tuesday, Spencer and I went to a local farm with our good friends to pick strawberries, something we had never done before. It was a lot of fun and we came home with A LOT of strawberries. We picked enough strawberries to can 17 jars of strawberry jam, freeze three quart-sized bags full for smoothies and milkshakes and to eat strawberry shortcake three nights in a row, plus a few to snack on!

My tomato plants have really grown this week! They seem to be happy!

Did you notice my zuchinni plant? It has sprouted!

Lots of fun things happening around here!

Oh, and here is one more picture. The other night, I noticed pink light coming through our front windows. I went out onto our front porch and found this pretty sight.

Great job on the strawberries! Did you go to the Chesterfield Berry Farm by chance? I need to get out and re-fresh my supply of strawberry jam. I have a great strawberry ice cream recipe too if you get tired of shortcake!
