Can you see their coach's arm, pointing in the opposite direction? Yes! They were headed toward the wrong goal, a very common occurance among the 4 year old players. Too funny.

Spencer loved having his dad as the assistant coach.

You will notice below that all of Taylor's pictures are action shots. This was an amazing feat, that took all season to accomplish. If I had brought my camera to any of her previous games, you would have seen pictures of her mostly standing on the feild, with her arms behind her back and a bored look on her face. Maybe it was a good thing I kept forgetting to bring my camera before.

I am so proud of both Spencer and Taylor. Spencer really enjoyed soccer, but sometimes he enjoyed it just a little too much. He would spend the entire game just running back and forth the feild, never paying any attention to the ball, just running with a huge smile on his face, so happy to be out their playing. By his last game, however, he was more focused, and even scored two goals. Taylor enjoyed soccer as well, and learned so much. It was a big transition for her to move from ballet and gymnastics to soccer. She had to learn how to be a little more aggressive. Okay - a lot more aggressive, but she got it by the end of the season and was really participating and "getting in there." I definitely think they will both be playing soccer again next season.

Those pictures are great! Taylor looks so grown up! Spencer looks like a little stud. It looks like they really liked it! I wish I would have done more sports as a kid!
We so loved seeing the pictures. I cannot believe how big they both look. My how quick it goes when they are little. We love and miss you all. Mom & Dad
I loved seeing the photo's it is the next best thing to being there. They both look so grown up. I miss you all a lot, love mom and grandma
Soccer is such a great "starter sport" It is what we started HD and Haylee in. HD used to just run and not do much either -he started when he was 4 too and by middle school he was named best offensive player even though he was a grade younger than most of the kids on the team and this year he as a sophmore he was captain of the varsity soccer team! They will definitely improve their skills the more they play.
Great pictures! I love all the action shots! Looks like they had a good time.
Soccer is fun I need to put my kids in it again this year!
Oh, what a wonderful thing they were able to be a part of. It's really fun that they did the same sport the same year too. Thanks for the pictures
Looks like a lot of fun!
