Food Adventures and More with Tami

I am the luckiest girl in the world. My best friend, Tami, and her two kids, Sarah and Adam, flew accross the country, just to see me! Aren't I lucky? I know I am! Our week was jam-packed. (It was super busy and we made jam too! Ha Ha.) We shopped a little, scrapbooked a lot, cooked, baked, spent time at the park and the zoo, watched a movie while eating cheese cake, (reliving our college memories,) watched a couple "finales," and just had the best time ever. (Did I miss anything Tami? Maybe I should have included the grumbling at our children. Wink wink.) Below are a few pictures from our kitchen adventures and our trip to the zoo. (I didn't take pictures of the hazlenut chocolate brownies we made, but they were good too.) I love you Tami and can't wait to do it all again. Next time, I am coming to California!

Our strawberry jam, that never quite set, but still tastes great, and was so much fun to make! I got to use my food processor for the very first time!

Our oh-so-fancy chicken and broccoli wreath! Isn't it pretty and oh-so-fancy?

Our chinese egg roles, from scratch! (So good.) Tami's dad will be very proud.
