London (England, of course)

Mark had the awesome opportunity to go to London for a business conference two weeks ago. The conference included a cruise on the Thames River and a tour of Parliment. (I am not sure if he actually did any work! Just kidding Mark.) While in London, he had the opportunity to meet up with Danny, an Iraqi refugee, and friend, whom he worked with while serving in Iraq a few years ago. Danny now lives in London with his wife and children. He took Mark all over London, showing him the ins and outs. They stopped at all of the major London sites and took a tour of Westminster Abbey. Mark enjoyed all of it, and especially got a kick out of finding statues of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln in the middle of London. He had a great time and took over 500 pictures! (I've only posted 14.)

I love London! So fun. That is a special opportunity for him to visit. I am looking forward to the next time we get to visit Adrian's home. I love Harods and all of the fun shopping. Too bad Mark didn't bring you back something from Next or H&M. Oh well. Hopefully you will go with him next time. Oh what fun.
