Danna's Visit and the BYU vs East Carolina Game

Such a fun weekend! It all started this past summer, when the boys made plans to meet up at the BYU vs East Carolina game. That game happened this weekend in North Carolina. Josh drove up and the boys drove down. They had a great time together tailgating and watching the Cougars play. (They got a last minute surprise as well when they found out Mark's sister, Kris, was there with her family. Great surprise!) Well, Danna decided she didn't want to miss out on the fun, so she left town a little earlier than Josh, (Elliott, her oldest, had a couple of days off of school.) and came to hang out with me. Lucky me! Despite a busy weekend on my part, (Taylor had two orchestra events and I had a practice for our ward's Primary Program.) we made the very best of it. We spent Thursday doing a little shopping around town. We spent Friday at Maymont. And then we had a girls night on Saturday. We had dinner out, did a little shopping and then, after putting the little girls to bed, we made cookies and popcorn and watched Netflix. Oh, and we all got in lots of Scout time all weekend long. It was a great weekend! As always, I'm so grateful we live close enough to have weekends like these!
