Our trip began on Thursday. (Mark and the kids had work and school on Friday, but we decided to skip those and head out of town a little early.) After everyone was home from work and school, we hit the road. We didn't get to Danna's house until pretty late, but that didn't stop us from catching up that night.
Friday was spent close to home. Besides relaxing at home a little, we had a tour of Simpsonville, ate ice cream at Ice Cream Station, took a trip to Walmart for Gamecocks hats and hit up the local fair.

We spent Saturday in Greenville, a city close by filled with lots of pretty places to walk and fun shops to explore, and then finished our day at a local pizza place.
We stopped to pet a lot of dogs.
I love this picture my sister captured.
Sunday was filled with church and the stomach flu. Poor Taylor had it rough. It was not fun for her at all, but I would be lying if I didn't say I loved the downtime it provided and getting to just talk with my sister.
On Monday morning, with our slowly recovering girl, we headed home. Saying goodbye is never fun, but it was a little easier yesterday because my sister and her girls will be coming up to visit us in just a couple weeks. Did I mention I am spoiled?! It really was a fun weekend.
