What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty (4 stars)
What an emotional roller coaster! This book is about a woman who wakes up, after a nasty fall, with no memory of the past ten years. Her life is nothing like she imagined it would be. I really enjoyed this book, my first by Moriarty. It was thought provoking and one I would definitley recommend. (*Brief language)
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child by J.K Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne (3.5 stars)
I enjoyed everything about this book, besides the fact that it isn't a novel. It's a script for a play. The story is great. I just wish it had been a novel.
One Plus One by Jojo Moyes (No rating)
The first couple chapters of this book were painful for me to read. They were a little too crude and had a little too much language. I had a sense the entire book would not be like this, so I pushed through those first couple chapters, especially since I had enjoyed Me Before You and After You, also written by Moyes. Well, 160 pages in, I finally gave up. I was right about the crudeness and language. They disappeared, but, by this point, I still hadn't connected with the characters in the book. With a huge stack of books on my bed-side table, books I can't wait to get my hands on, I didn't want to continue with this one. Sometimes I return to an abondened book. I don't think I will with this one.
The Nature of the Beast (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache #11) by Louise Penny (4 stars)
Obviously, considering I just finished book #11, I am enjoying Penny's Armand Gamache series. I usually do not enjoy crime fiction, but her books are so much more. She tells a great story, more on the literary-side,, while delving well into the human mind and heart. For me, it works really well and book #11 did not disappoint. (*Some language)
Deliberate Motherhood: 12 Key Powers of Peace, Purpose, Order & Joy by The Power of Moms (5 stars)
I love The Power of Moms and all they do to encourage mothers to be deliberate. If you are looking for mothering advice presented in an encouraging and uplifting way, The Power of Moms is for you.
Willowkeep by Julie Daines (3 stars)
This is my third book by Daines. I enjoyed her other two more than this one. It is a Regency Romance book that simply needed a more original story and better writing.

Thanks for the heads-up about the Moyes book, and I have decided I need to get into some of these mysteries you like to read! I'm also looking forward to reading the Harry Potter book. :-)
Yay! Just a heads up on those mysteries...The language, though not peppered through the entire series, when it does occur, is pretty jarring.
I enjoy your reviews, I need to do this on goodreads.
