Spencer's Not-So-Scary Health Scare

Spencer never fails to surprise us. Last Friday night, as we were headed home from the church building, Spencer casually said, "At school today, I blacked out. Well, I didn't black out completely. I could sort of see out of my right eye. I was very shaky and I couldn't feel my right arm for a moment. It felt dead. Then I was fine." Mark and I looked at each other with questioning looks. "What!?" We peppered him for more details. After getting more information, we felt that I should take him into his doctor on Monday morning to get him checked out. I did so this morning and all is well. I don't want to go into the details, but we are fairly certain we know what caused the temporary black out, (nothing serious, I promise,) and are working on making sure it doesn't happen again. The funniest moment of Friday night came when Mark said, "So, when your mom asked how your day was after school today and you said, "Good"..." This kid!
