Berkeley Plantation
I will never get over the beauty and history of Virginia. Berkeley Plantation was no exception. The plantation was beautiful and full of history. America's very first Thanksgiving was held there, (despite what the history books tell us.) Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were visitors there. Two presidents were born there. The Union army set up house there during the Civil War. President Lincoln visited there twice during the Civil War. Taps was written there. The list goes on and on. I loved it.

What a fun thing to be able to do around Thanksgiving. That's a pretty cool state you live in! :)
