Carving Pumpkins

We almost didn't carve pumpkins this year. That seems crazy to say, but life has just been that crazy around here. Thankfully, we had an unexpected day off from school and work and were able to carve some fun pumpkins. (A hurricane, Sandy to be exact, was expected to hit us, so everything was cancelled in anticipation of its arrival, but the hurricane never came our way, giving us an extra day together as a family! We were very grateful the hurricane passed us by and were very grateful for the day spent together as a family.) Mark carved the Doctor Who pumpkin. Taylor carved the Adipose pumpkin, a character from Doctor Who. And Spencer carved the Angry Birds pumpkin. (The fourth pumpkin was also carved by Mark. He carved it at our ward's Halloween party later that night in a pumpkin carving contest. He got 2nd place!)
