A Few of My Thoughts and Questions

Will I EVER get used to waking up at 5:30 in the morning for seminary? (I have quickly gained major respect for those of you who've attended early-morning seminary, especially for four whole years.)

How did I not know how BIG my new calling would be? (I knew it would be big, but not THIS big. Teaching seminary requires SO MUCH preparation!)

Are the kids in my seminary class getting as much from our lessons as I am. (I am learning SO, SO much!)

Will I EVER think of ANYTHING other than seminary?!

I bet you are doing so great and I'm sure your kids are learning a ton! Love you!

I think you knew you were going to get this calling. Why else would you start spend hours on end studying the scriptures with your free time, months before you received the calling. You were meant to be doing exactly what you are doing. Plus, thinking of semenary 24/7 is probably not such a bad thing.

I didn't know, but someone obviously did, because I was getting some major promptings to get myself studying the scriptures!

And, yes! Thinking of seminary all the time is not a bad thing at all.

My hubby taught for 3.5 yrs...it was A LOT of work for us both...he kinda turned into an old man...in bed by 9ish b.c he was literally falling asleep watching tv at night :( and yes he learned SO much! and we had two infants during the 3 yrs that was tough! YOU Rock! you'll learn a ton and if the kids don't learn as much as u want, they will at least have the spirit brought to them each morning and that's what counts ;)

Congrats on the new calling! I'm sure the class is loving you for a teacher. Sounds like a lot of work, but worth it.

Jamie, I was talking to one of your seminary students this week and I heard that you were an excellent teacher! Of course I already knew that! :)
